Printer Friendly PageOur Open Days are aimed at full-time students and are held three times a year. They are an ideal opportunity to find out more about the University and your course of interest in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The next Open Day will take place on:

Our Open Day starts at 10am and runs until 4pm.
We ask that you book in advance for our Open Day so we can send you a programme to help you plan your day.

What's happening on the day?
There will be an Information Fair at our Caerleon Campus where representatives from the Newport School of Art, Media and Design, Newport School of Education, Newport Business School, the School of Health and Social Sciences who will be on hand to answer questions about the courses you are interested in.
There will be trained advisors from our Student Services and Careers departments to answer any queries you have on coming to university. If you have children, you will also be able to find out more about our Tiny Tots Nursery.
There will also be an opportunity for your parents to chat to staff about questions that may concern them, like 'do I really need to buy every book on the reading list'!

An introduction to the University and to the City of Newport with a comprehensive overview of our facilities here in Newport.
Student Finance & Careers
Money is a big worry for many students. This talk will guide you through how to make the most of studying without ending up in too much debt. It will also cover what happens to our students when they leave the University and the support available.
Student Life
Who better to tell you about life in Newport than our students themselves? Find out the real deal in this talk.
The Admissions Process
Make sure you don't fall into the pitfalls of applying. Experts from our Admissions department will help guide you through what to do.
Students' Union at Newport
Our lovely SU people will tell you what being a member of the Students' Union involves and give you an idea of the type of events and campaigns they run.
New City Campus
From January 2011 our students and staff will be moving into a brand new campus in the heart of Newport City Centre. Come along to this talk to find out if your course will be based there and news of what this stunning new building will contain.
In addition to this there will be tours available of the facilities at our Caerleon campus as well as our on campus accommodation.
